I guess it comes naturally to think of Noah whenever there's a flood. Even when there's just a lot of rain with no threat of flooding, folks start talking about "building an ark." That kind of talk was prevalent over the last week, as you can imagine.

Flooding in Louisville

Now that we've bright, sunny skies above us, I look forward to the stream and creek flooding to begin subsiding. However, the rivers will now take over, and that will be no small concern. Here in Owensboro, we're expecting the Ohio River to crest at 47 feet this Saturday. That's high moderate flood stage.

It's a different number for the Ohio River at Louisville, but moderate flood stage is still expected as early as Monday in Derby City. This live shot set up by WHAS11 tells the tale.

Noah Goes Shopping

Yes, that's Interstate 65, and it's getting mighty close. Indeed, someone needs to start thinking about an ark. However, before you start looking for a USED ark, you might want to check to see if it's been abandoned. It may simply be parked at the Taylor Boulevard Save-a-Lot in Louisville, and it might just belong to this guy.

We don't know who this dude is, but kudos for, well, just about everything. The costume, the staff, the beard, and, especially, the collecting of TWO of everything for purchase. And I have to agree with Debbie Crismer regarding the business aspect of it all...

"The guy is a genius.. he’s like the advertising genius!!!!"
