Louisville’s New Nova Adventure Park Has Everything for a Family Day of Fun

For most of us, our weekends are pretty booked throughout the summertime, but maybe you can find an opening. It would be understandable if Louisville's new adventure park didn't make it onto your itinerary; it's new enough that you may not have heard about it yet. So allow me to introduce the two of you.

Nova Adventure Park

Just as Maui's Indoor Theme Park found a home in Owensboro's defunct Towne Square Mall, Nova Adventure Park has settled in at an old Louisville Big Lots store at 4025 Poplar Level Drive. That calls for a big shout-out to Kentucky resourcefulness. Take an empty box store, and make it come alive. (A story for another day, perhaps.)

Like similar adventure parks, Nova Adventure Park, often labeled a trampoline park (and there's nothing wrong with that), offers plenty for everyone to enjoy. While the kids are enjoying those trampolines, the rope course, and ball pit, and much more, the parents can relax in any of a dozen massage chairs and couches, or they can join the fun.

With all those arcade games, claw machines, the rock climbing wall, and the ninja course, maybe they'll enjoy a relaxing chair massage after the action dies down. Of course, once everyone recharges, it's back to the "playing field."

Except for when there are special holiday hours, Nova Adventure Park is open Monday through Thursday from 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM, and Friday through Sunday from 10 AM to 8 PM.
