Ohio County Cancer Foundation Hosts Fundraiser to Support Local Families

No One Fights Alone is a nonprofit organization in Ohio County supporting cancer patients and their families. Born from the shared experiences of a group of friends affected by cancer, the organization aims to raise awareness and provide emotional and financial support to ensure no one has to face their battle alone. With a fundraising event planned to kick off this important initiative, No One Fights Alone is committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of those impacted by cancer.

Brandy Rothgerber, President of the Ohio County chapter of No One Fights Alone, reached out to share the inspiring story behind the charity and an upcoming fundraiser. The organization was founded by eight determined and passionate women, all committed to supporting cancer patients and families. Now, they need the community's support to help make this dream come true and provide much-needed assistance to those facing the battle against cancer.

"No One Fights Alone in Ohio County’s beginning board is a group of women who all have a history of cancer. We take a unique look at the disease itself, through the eyes of someone who has survived it, lost loved ones, and supported loved ones through it. It is our goal to help those in Ohio County who are diagnosed with any type of cancer through support groups, knowledge, monetary donations, and assistance."

CRUISIN' & CRAFTIN' FOR A CURE BENEFIT

Rev up those engines and get ready for an unforgettable day! The Ohio County Park is the place to be on Saturday, April 19th, 2025, from 9 AM to 3 PM for a fundraiser full of exciting activities. Browse a stunning collection of vintage vehicles, enjoy live music at 11 AM, and join in the action with a Poker Run—registration begins at 9:30 AM, with kickstands up at 11:30 AM and a $20 registration fee. The Car Show kicks off at 10 AM with a $20 entry fee. There will also be delicious food, a craft and vendor show, and plenty of family-friendly fun for all ages! Don’t miss out on this event to support a great cause and make memories with your loved ones.
