Flea Market Returns to Owensboro Convention Center For Christmas
HO! Ho! Hoooooooo! How is your Christmas shopping coming along? Did you just groan at the thought of that question? I don't blame you. I did too!
I've decided to make my Christmas shopping a challenge this year. Other than specific requests from my kiddo and family, I'm going to do all of my gift-buying either secondhand or on sale. It's not just my way of saving money; I feel like I'm doing my part not to add more junk to my house or the landfill.
I'm just tired of buying gifts for the sake of buying something. What I REALLY like to do is walk the aisles of flea markets and antique shops to find a legit treasure. One of a kind and just with that special person in mind. Or a really great bargain on something handmade or useful.
Those are the types of things you'll find at the Owensboro Flea Market, coming up the weekend of December 5th at the Owensboro Convention Center. My husband, son, and I went shopping at the summer market and found all kinds of fun vintage and new items. We came home with records, a couple of fun t-shirts, a Yellow Rose hat, some pickles, Christmas decor, and an Opryland souvenir.
See! Something for everyone on your Christmas list. Here's what you need to know about the upcoming Owensboro Flea Market.
Admission is $2, kids get in free, and parking is free! Can't beat that.
