It was an emotional day when the Owensboro Grain crew stopped by last week to make their annual check presentation. Christmas Wish is so important to Tim Harley, who was diagnosed with Glioblastoma on September 24th, 2019. Here's the emotional interview.

I had the chance to talk to Tim's wife Jane over the weekend. "Owensboro Grain has been, well I can’t think of a word. Words can’t describe what they have done for Tim and our family during this most difficult time. And, yes believe me Tim never thought twice about supporting Christmas Wish. He always wants to give back!", Jane shared.

She went on to say, "Timmy has always been a supporter of Christmas wish. He has a huge heart and always did what he could to help people out. He puts others before himself and giving back to the community means a lot to him. He never wanted anyone to go without. He feels fortunate to have been blessed enough to be able to do so throughout the years."

"One memory Timmy shared about Christmas wish that stands out is every year when it was time to collect for the cause, the guys at Owensboro Grain never had cash in their wallets. He’d tell them that they knew he’d be collecting for Christmas wish and they better get some money in those wallets! He made a joke about it, as he loves making people laugh, but they knew he meant business.", She added.

Earlier in the year, the team at Owensboro Grain came together in solidarity, to support one of their own.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Harley family during this difficult time. We are so thankful for the support shown to the Christmas Wish mission thru the years.
