Owensboro, KY Mayor Honors Randy Lanham With Award of Distinction
Education Director at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum, Director at Project Volunteer, and Philanthropist, Randy Lanham has impacted so many lives. He's always stepping up to donate time, money, or talent to help create a better Daviess County. Mayor Tom Watson recognizes an individual for his/her generosity each year and Randy was bestowed that honor.
I've known Randy for several years because we tend to run in the same "non-profit" circles. He's a huge part of Volunteer Owensboro and helps local organizations in a variety of capacities. His positive attitude is infectious. His giving heart is immeasurable. His volunteerism is motivating. His loyalty and kindness are inspiring. His impeccable musical talents are a gift. Randy is truly one of the nicest people I know!
Although Randy has been on an amazing musical journey, I'm sure he'd want his legacy to be what he's done to impact this community. He deserves every bit of his success and recognition.
