I never had a chance to attend any camps growing up. I'm not sure they were ever offered back then, but it would be fun. It's such a great opportunity for children to get out of the house, put down electronics, exercise, and make memories.

OWENSBORO PARKS AND RECREATION FALL CAMP

Owensboro Parks & Recreation is offering Fall Break Camp for ages 5 to 12 years old on Monday through Friday, October 9th - 13th, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 5-year-old children must be currently enrolled in kindergarten in the 23/24 school year. They'll offer early morning drop-off starting at 7:00 a.m. for $2, plus tax per day, per child. It's recommended that campers bring a sack lunch each day, although breakfast, morning, and afternoon snacks will be provided. The deadline to register is Friday, September 15th, 2023.

The fee is $100 per child, plus tax. There is a $5 sibling discount for younger siblings residing in the same household. In addition, there is also a $55 plus tax annual registration fee, if your child did not attend Spring or Summer Camp in 2023.

EASY REGISTRATION PROCESS

The registration process has changed a little this year, but it's still easy to navigate.

You'll need a current immunization form, an early registration fee, and payment for camp at registration.

Many fun-filled activities are planned, including arts, crafts, games, sports, field trips, and more. Your children will love it!
