Summertime is in full swing and folks are wanting to get outdoors and enjoy it. So it will come as good news that Owensboro Parks and Recreation has announced additional reopenings beginning next week.

According to the Owensboro Parks & Rec website, this coming Monday, June 29th, city playgrounds will reopen with COVID-19 guidelines in place. Also on that day, Combest Pool will open and be open Monday through Friday from noon-4:30PM; Saturday from 11AM to 4:30PM; and Sunday 1PM to 5PM.

Look for park restrooms at Ben Hawes, Chautauqua, Dugan Best, and Kendell-Perkins Parks to also reopen that day, as well as the Travis Aubrey Skate Park.

On July 3rd, the spray parks at Smothers, Legion, and Kendell-Perkins Parks will open and be open Monday through Sunday from 9AM to 9PM.
