Owensboro Police Department Recruitment Event Takes You Behind the Scenes

The Owensboro Police Department is hosting a recruitment event for anyone interested in a career in law enforcement this week.

These men and women are constantly going above and beyond to serve the citizens here in Owensboro.  They put themselves out in the community for Coffee with a Cop at different times during the year inviting citizens to stop by a location in town and have coffee and conversation giving people a chance to just get to know the officers in a more comfortable setting.

Tuesday, June 22, the Owensboro Police Department will be hosting a Recruitment House where the public will have a chance to do the following:

• Meet the Officers
• Take a tour of the building
• Learn about how to apply and the process
• Learn about the different Speciality Units in the dept.

The event will take place from 4 - 8 p.m. at the department located at 222 W. 9th Street.
