It's been incredible watching these young ladies grow up over the last several years when they walk through the Christmas Wish Headquarters each season. There's so much need in the community and this is why Girl Scout Troop 1592 holds this annual fundraiser. Even at a young age, they understand how important it is to give back to those who need it the most. You can help in the mission and fill your bellies too!

Girl Scout Troop 1592 Pancake Breakfast

Get ready for delicious homemade pancakes for breakfast on Saturday, December 11th, 2021. From 8 AM until 11 AM, start your morning right with some fluffy pancakes, sausage, and a choice of milk, orange juice, coffee, or water. You can eat in, or get an easy grab-and-go breakfast at Trinity Episcopal Church at 720 Ford Ave. in Owensboro. The girls are asking for a $4 donation for Christmas Wish. They will take those donations and purchase toys for little girls and boys in need this season. And, Santa Claus is coming to town! He's arriving from the North Pole on Saturday morning for photos, and children can let him know what they want for Christmas this year.

Girl Scout Troop 1592 Silent Auction

Because the online silent auction was such a success last year, they're at it again. All auction items will be pictured so you can place your bid in the comments on Saturday. And, then at 6 PM, the highest bidder will win that item. Super easy, and super fun! You may find some great Christmas gifts for someone on your list. 100% of the proceeds raised with the auction will help the Girl Scouts purchase more gifts for families in need.

Daviess County Fire Department Shatters Previous Years Donation Record

We were so happy when they walked through the door on opening day. We were even more excited when they presented the check for the 2021 season. They raised over $14,000 to help those in need this holiday season. How incredible is that, and it set a fundraising record!
