PCB Resort Provides Gorgeous Lazy River With Breathtaking Views of Gulf
This Panama City Beach Resort provides a gorgeous beachfront view of the gulf while you laze around and relax in the sun.
Angel here and I can't believe it has been two years since we visited our friends at the Holiday Inn Resort PCB. Nearly three years ago we broke the news they would be adding a Beachfront Lazy River to the many amenities the resort offers. It took two years to construct and it was well worth it.
Here's what you can expect if you visit the Holiday Inn PCB Resort;
The brand new Lazy River, located right on the sandy dunes of the Gulf Of Mexico. The river covers more than 5000 sq. ft of space and holds more than 81,000 gallons of water, and is almost two football fields in length.
The lazy river is one of the largest on Panama City Beach and the only one to sit right on the sandy dunes within steps of the Gulf Of Mexico. Its location means that guests in the river have an incredible view of the Gulf Of Mexico as they travel down the south side of the river relaxing in the inner tubes provided by the resort. The river’s east end features a zero-depth entry area that serves as the river's main water entrance. To reach the river, guests travel over the ADA-friendly bridge that is wrapped in a facade made to look like it was built on top of a mountain. Once you cross the bridge, you let out onto the beautiful white paver stone deck with plenty of lounge chairs for sunbathing and relaxing while the kids, both young and old, enjoy playing in the pool and river. This bridge also creates the other fun feature of the river. When you round the corner on an inner tube from the south side, you enter a tunnel that looks like it was carved out of the very mountain that the bridge crosses over, complete with waterfalls on either side as you pass through it. With speakers all around the deck and in the water, guests also won’t miss out on any of the great live entertainment the resort offers either.
The resort is billed as a Cruise Ship on land and it's certainly true. There are multiple restaurants and activities for everyone to enjoy no matter what age.
