PorchFest OBKY Shares the 2024 Official Survival Guide

PorchFest OBKY 2024 is coming up Saturday, June 8th on Griffith Avenue in Owensboro. This year's event features twelve stages and nearly forty musical acts.

Tamarra and Andy Brasher have organized the guide into several key categories.

WHAT YOU NEED

WALKING SHOES- To cover as much ground (and as many porches/stages) as possible.

BYOC- Bring your own chairs to ensure the best viewing experience ⁣

CASH- To tip the artists and snag some artist merch. ⁣

SUNBLOCK- Though the temperature is going to be pleasant and mild, you'll want to protect you from the sun.

APPETITE-  There are 15 food vendors lined up for PorchFest ⁣

PHONE/CAMERA-  To take & post as many pictures as possible. Don't forget to tag PorchFest! ⁣

WHERE TO PARK

All side streets (off Griffith Avenue) will be open and available for parking. Please be mindful of driveways.

WHAT NOT TO BRING

A GOLFCART- They are prohibited.

GLASS

ALCOHOL- You are welcome to bring your own food & beverages but public alcohol laws still apply during the event. PorchFest does NOT sell or host a "beer garden." This is a family-friendly event.

THE FINAL 'SURVIVAL' TIP

Remember, PorchFest takes place in a neighborhood. Pack-It-In. Pack-It-Out. Leave only your footprints.
