Rupp Arena Will Host Two 'Price Is Right Live' Shows

The Price Is Right and I go way back. When I was a kid, and we weren't in school, I'd lay on the floor from 10 AM to 11 AM and get excited for people I didn't even know as they won their way up on stage to play for cars, refrigerators, or trips to Tahiti.

The iconic game show always seemed like the television equivalent of a slot machine. Do you know how exciting it is to hear those coins clink into the tray, and you want more? Well, loud and brassy have always been how The Price Is Right operates, and that's how it should be. In fact, it's fan favorite Plinko that most puts me in mind of how exciting a big slots win is.

'The Price Is Right Live' Coming to Lexington for Two Shows

The Price Is Right Live is coming to Rupp Arena Sunday, October 29th. The event has been scheduled for some time, but now a second show has been added. The smash stage hit is so popular, that a matinee has been added. Here's a look behind the scenes--and, well, in front of the scenes, too--of The Price Is Right Live:

The Price Is Right Live has given away more than $12 million in cash and prizes since the first show some 14 years ago, and it shows no signs of letting up.
