Recipe: Easy and Delicious Dill Potatoes [Photo]
You are going to love this recipe. It's quick, easy and delicious and these potatoes make the perfect side dish for just about any main course. Check it out!
DILL POTATOES
3 to 4 tablespoons of butter
1 1/2 pounds of potatoes (see note below)
salt
freshly ground black pepper
1 1/2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
Melt the butter in a large saucepan. You could actually use less butter if you want. You could get away with a couple of tablespoons, but, quite frankly, the extra pad or so will give your dish an even richer flavor.
Add the potatoes. I use white delights, though you could use baby red potatoes. It's really up to you!
Throw in about a teaspoon of salt. I always, always use kosher. Crack some black pepper over the top and toss everything together.
Now, cover the pot and cook on low for roughly 25 minutes. Every once in a while, just shake the pot a bit to keep the potatoes turning. When the potatoes are tender and you can pierce them with a small knife or fork, they are ready!
Toss in the dill (SOOOO much better if you use FRESH dill). . . a little more salt and pepper to taste . . . and serve those bad boys hot! They're quick, easy and DELICIOUS!!! And, trust me, if they're sitting next to a big old steak you just pulled off the grill, you are gonna love 'em even more!
