Sam's Southern Eatery Coming To Owensboro

West Parrish Avenue in Owensboro is finally getting the love it deserves. I noticed yesterday there was a banner up welcoming a brand new restaurant coming to the old Hardee's location.

Angel here and I love to eat. Imagine my excitement to see a new restaurant sign and it's actually on the west side of Owensboro. Another plus I am a west side girl.

Sam's Southern Eatery was established in 2008 and prides itself on providing a delicious southern style home cooked meal. They have over 50 locations in nine different Southern States across the U.S. Owensboro will be the first location in Kentucky. Evansville has two Sam's.

With a brand new restaurant comes the opportunity for employment. There is a sign that says "Now Hiring" and here is where you can apply.

The menu is out of this world. And to my delight they have SHRIMP!

We were not able to reach anyone to find out an exact date for opening but I can tell you the building is being prepped. It has a fresh coat of paint and signs in the windows.
