Shepherd’s Hand Ministry Offering Free Clothing and Food Today
If you're in need or you know somebody that is, FREE food and summer clothing will be available today at Good Shepherd Church while supplied last. Here's everything you need to know before you go.
Gwen Bennett, the founder of Shepherd's Hand Ministry and her team have been working hard to supply clothing and food to those in need in our community. Today's event will do just that!
If you need a little bit of a hand up stop by Good Shepherd Church Tuesday, March 30th, 2021 from 12-2. They will have not only food like fruit, veggies, milk and meat, but some gently used summer clothing as well. There will be summer clothing for adult and children. Five outfits per child will be allotted, including dresses, light jackets and shoes.
Supplies are limited so plan to get there early!
This ministry is such a blessing to the community for all that they do, including the fact that they gifted a car to a family in need last year. Currently they're looking for donations of stuffed Easter eggs or bags of candy. If you can help, bring your donations during office hours or drop them off in the buckets at the Welcome Desk. All children deserve a visit from the Easter Bunny this holiday season!
If you are interested in helping out with the ministry or donating items or your time, contact Gwen Bennett at marybennett5@hotmail.com or call (270) 316-7920. The best hands-on worship is helping others in their time of need.
