Your Dog Will Be Screaming for Ice Cream at this Big “Paw-ty” in Owensboro
You scream. I scream. We all scream for ice cream!
SPARKY, Saving Paws Animal Rescue of Kentucky, is gearing up for a really fun and tasty event this Sunday. They're hosting a FREE Ice Cream 'Paw-ty' here in Owensboro and your dog is invited.
I have been a SPARKY supporter for a long time and have two SPARKY rescues of my own. I have a Bichon Frise named Yogi!
And my boy Simon, who's a Cairn Terrier!
Honestly, I am thinking about taking the boys and their sister Ellie (who's also a rescue) to the big event on Sunday.
SPARKY is teaming with various local businesses for a delectable ice cream social that features "FREE ice cream for the humans and pup cups for the pups." If the current forecast holds out, it's going to be the perfect day for some ice cream at the park. The current National Weather Service forecast calls for sunny skies with highs around 90 degrees. In other words, serve up the ice cream, SPARKY!
The event is scheduled from 2pm to 4pm, Sunday, September 3rd at Legion Park in Owensboro.
SPARKY has teamed up with a variety of local business to make the 'paw-ty' possible.
So, round up the pup (or pups) and bring them to Legion Park, which is sandwiched between JR Miller Boulevard and Veach Road here in Owensboro.
