Get Egg-cited! Kentucky Animal Rescue Hosting 11th Annual Easter Bone Hunt
Our dog, Freddie, is a Golden Retriever. This means he is basically a professional when it comes to sniffing out toys and treats. That toy that got stuck deep in the couch? Found it! That stinky sock that got stuck under the bed? Found it! That bone Mimi got him that he forgot he left outside? Found it again! He's such a sweet, goofy guy and FULL of energy.
Do you have a pupper who would be very HOPPY at the thought of searching for thousands of bones with a bunch of other fur friends? If so, the fine folks at SparKy AKA Saving Paws Animal Rescue of Kentucky are gearing up for their 11th Annual Easter Bone Hunt.
Saturday, March 30th from 11:00 to 1:30 bring your dog (on a leash please!) to Ben Hawes Park and register them for a day of Easter EGG-citement. For only $10 a dog, they can participate in the hunt or if your furbaby is more of a supermodel, you can pay $20 for some adorable pet portraits by Dream Copy Photography.
Or save $5 and get both for $25. Such a great deal and all for a great cause which is to help Sparky Pet Rescue. The highlight of the week here at the station is when SparKy volunteers bring in a sweet baby up for adoption every Thursday so we can help find their fur-ever homes.
Thanks to fun events like this one and the generosity of the community they can continue to care for animals in need while spreading joy to families in the area in the form of unconditional love from a canine or feline companion.
Here is the official flyer with more information. Put on your best Easter bonnet and have fun!
