The 2011 Ohio River Sweep is looking for volunteers  to participated in the annual Ohio River Sweep scheduled for Saturday, June 18, 2011.  The River Sweep is a shoreline cleanup that extends the entire length of the Ohio River from Pittsburgh PA to Cairo, IL. Because of extensive flooding along the Ohio this spring, more and more volunteers are needed.

Each volunteer that participates in the event will be given a free T-shirt for their time and effort.  There are site locations in every county along the river.  Trash bags and gloves will be available at the various site locations for the volunteers.
