I drive past Daviess County High School a couple times a day and this band practices. Practices a lot! It paid off this past weekend as the DCHS "Band of Pride" scored some major wins!

A huge congratulations this afternoon to Daviess County High School senior Elijah Cooper.  He has been named a 2018 National Merit Semifinalist.

For the second year in a row, the Daviess County High School archery team has won the National Outdoor Championship.

Last weekend, Apollo High School was named S3DA Outdoor Archery State Champs!  Several local students placed in different divisions.  We are super proud of these kids!

It was a very successful weekend for the Daviess County High School Archery Team and the team from College View Middle!  Both teams claimed indoor national titles!

The Daviess County HS Archery Team is the #1 indoor archery team in the state of Kentucky! They claimed their first Kentucky State Indoor Archery championship title on Saturday and it was epic.

Daviess County High School will be hip hoppin' this weekend as the 3rd and 4th Regional KDCO Dance Team Competition hits the floor and middle school and high school teams from around western Kentucky will be on hand vying for the title of Grand Champion.

Daviess County High School will host it's annual chili supper, on November 12th. The event will feature a dinner,silent auction, and scrimmage games from the Daviess County girls and boys basketball teams. All proceeds from the chili supper will benefits Daviess County athletics...

A big congratulations to Daviess County High School junior Isaac Carmon.  He has been named the winner of a statewide essay contest sponsored by the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority.

This is INCREDIBLY cool.  Daviess County High School sophomore Owen Krahwinkel just spent eight days in Quantico, Virginia.  He was selected to participate in a program with the FBI.

Huge honors for Daviess County High School senior Ian Alward.  The Band of Pride member has been selected to participate in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio.

Rolling!  My niece Skylor saw this photo hanging on the wall at my mom's house and decided she had to snap a pic of it and post it on Facebook.  (She will be punished.)  Yes!  This was one of my senior pictures from Daviess County High School Class of '89.  And I found some other classic shots to share with you too.  #dork
