Highland Elementary School

In honor of the upcoming Veteran's Day weekend, students at Highland Elementary created artwork to celebrate community members that have served in the military.

Preschoolers at Highland Elementary instantly fell in love with Jenny and her "Junkyard Dog". A Jamestown, Kentucky artist created the sculpture with scrap metal.

There's a new food item on the menu at the Artisan Café inside the Convention Center. It was inspired by Addison Spurrier, a student at Highland Elementary!

Today is National Read Across America Day and I had the chance to celebrate with some special students at Highland Elementary. We read the most amazing book!
