This is phenomenal.  Owensboro High School student and aspiring musical theatre star Kennedy McCollam wowed fellow students and the crowd over the weekend at the Kentucky Thespian Festival, which, for the first time, was held here in Owensboro. Kennedy performed the ballad "I Don't Know How to Love Him" from the musical Jesus Christ Superstar. She was superb. Check it out!

Kennedy McCollam had a very busy March.  In addition to being crowned the champion of Theatre Workshop's Owensboro's Got Talent contest, she entered a contest that gives her the chance to sing in an Off Broadway show in New York City.  And YOU can help make that dream come true for her!  All you have to do is vote.

Owensboro's Kennedy McCollam, who was so impressive when she sang for us during the 2013 St. Jude Radiothon, has moved into the semifinals of the Kentucky Opry Talent Search.  And she earned her spot there with this rousing rendition of Martina McBride's "Concrete Angel."  This is beautiful!
