WBKR’s “The Run for Your Life” Zombie Run Next Friday!

One, two.   They're coming for you!!!  WBKR's brand new zombie run, "The Run for Your Life," is just one week away and it's time to get signed up for Owensboro's newest, scariest 5K event.  Here's how you do it . . .

Here at WBKR.com and our WBKR studios on Frederica Street we continue accepting entries for WBKR's "The Run for Your Life!"  The entry fee is just $25 per runner (before next Friday, Sept 21st) and includes an official Zombie Run t-shirt from Central Screen Printing and the chance to win some really cool prizes from our sponsors, Lady Luck Tattoo and The Old Courthouse Catacombs and The House of Lecter!  (Registration day of is $30 and may NOT include an official race t-shirt). 

Our brand new Zombie Run is one of the featured events of WBKR's Pumpkinfest, which runs September 21st and 22nd at the Owensboro Sportscenter and Moreland Park. 

Picture it.  Darkness in the city streets.  You.  A flag on each hip.  Zombies trying to rip those flags from your flesh!!   The end of the course is in sight but the zombies on your trail.  RUN!!!!  Can you make it to the finish line?? 

So, what do you think?  Are you ready to be chased by flesh-eaters through the Owensboro city streets?  Then enter online RIGHT HERE!  Or, round up 10 or more of your friends and take advantage of our group discount (groups of 10 or more can run for $20 per person.  Those registration forms MUST be turned in at the WBKR studios on Frederica Street in bulk with full payment).
