With this year's amazing crop of talent in WBKR's Battle for The Big O talent competition there was just one wild card spot open for the finals. And that spot was taken, quickly and easily, by The Kyle Whitaker Band from Butler County, Kentucky. Check out the performance that earned them a shot at $1,000 and the right to open the 2013 Big O Music Fest. This is an original song called "American Man" and the guys just nailed it. This is terrific!
WBKR's Battle for The Big O finale is Saturday, August 24th at Diamond Lake's Good Time Theatre. Tickets are just $10 are on sale now at Diamond Lake, the WBKR studios and online HERE!
At the finale event, 14 acts will compete for the title and the right to open the 2013 Big O Music Festival starring Jake Owen, Justin Moore, Love & Theft, Colt Ford, Lo Cash Cowboys, Kristen Kelly, and Jaclyn Graves.
