The Red Cross Tristate Cares Mediathon a Huge Success

Yesterday, here at WBKR/WOMI, we joined the American Red Cross and various other media outlets around the tristate to raise money for victims of Hurricane Florence.  It was a huge success!

According to Theo Boots, Executive Director of the American Red Cross in Evansville, the event raised $25,858!  That's the preliminary final total.  However, as Theo explains, donations were "coming in hot and heavy toward the end due to the tremendous coverage."
