The Sandy Lee Watkins Songwriters Festival Coming Soon!

The Sandy Lee Watkins Songwriters Festival has surely made a name for itself over the last few years. The annual event makes its way back to Henderson, July 29th - August 1st. With three stages in downtown Henderson, over 30 songwriters will play, sing and tell stories about some of your favorite songs heard on the radio.

Kerry Kurt Phillips, a Henderson native, is one of the premier writers in country music and he will be at the festival. He stopped by my Midday Show today, reminisced about some of his greatest hits and even sang for us. Kerry has written hits for George Jones, Tim McGraw, Joe Diffie, Craig Morgan, Tracey Byrd, George Strait and more!
