What you are looking at is the only photo of me and Santa in a store and/or mall setting. Well, it's the only one like it I could find. Have you ever seen a calmer child?

Here's what I know about the picture. It was taken at Rivergate Mall outside of Nashville, my Mom, Dad, and me were doing some Christmas shopping, and, not surprisingly, Mom said I wasn't that enthused. Yet, I didn't cry and I didn't appear to be scared. Oh, and I was 2 or 3. If nothing else can be deduced from this photo, we do know the North Pole is 4,790 miles from Nashville. And why did kids wear those bright white shoes back then? I think I was told they were corrective. I wonder what I wanted for Christmas? Perhaps, a bag of smiles. Compared to this,

I'd say Santa was happy. This is my niece Zoey. She was 1, and she was scared. Fast forward to this year, and Zoey wants all the toys and she's chilled out.
