Traveling Skeletons Made Their Way From Tennessee to Kentucky & It’s Bone Rattling Fun
A set of traveling skeletons decide to pack their bags and go on an adventure from Mississippi to Tennessee and now Kentucky. Their story will really tickle your funny bone.
WHERE DID THE IDEA OF SKELETONS FOR HALLOWEEN ORIGINATE?
For as long as I can remember skeletons have been a staple Halloween decoration for your yard, parties, and even costumes. But have skeletons always been a part of this dark but fascinating holiday?
According to Halloweenfandom.com;
Skeletons are even more strongly associated with the Mexican holiday El Día de los Muertos (The Day of the Dead), which takes place on November 1. During that holiday, not only can many decorations in the shape of skeletons be seen, but candy and other foods which look like skeletons are eaten as well.
TRAVELING SKELETONS MAKE THEIR WAY TO 3 DIFFERENT STATES
The Sanders family lives right here in Daviess County, Kentucky. They decided to join in on a little Halloween fun this year and invited some traveling skeletons to make themselves at home in their front yard for the season.
Here's the story of their travel according to Deanna;
We started Bones on the Roam the first part of September this year. We change them randomly with no set schedule. The skeletons started in Mississippi, traveled to Tennessee, and them made the final trip to us. Our neighbors have roamed them a few times to our surprise!! Facebook has gotten a kick out of our episodes for sure. Our dogs aren't bothered with them and could care less. It's amazing that some plastic, a few screws, and some string are bringing people so much joy! We text and share on Facebook...even made a few new Facebook friends out of it.
MEET THE BONES ON THE ROAM SKELETON CREW
The family changes the skeletons randomly and each time they change them they call it an "Episode" we'll start with episodes 1 and 2 and go from there.
I think this one should be called Wreaking Havoc;
Spending a little quality time with Deanna.
Taking a little drive to relax.
Enjoying an evening on the swing.
Deep conversation is good for the bones.
I bet that beer goes right through him LOL!
EPISODE 3: Doing a little hunting
Their neighbors the Curtis Family decided to get in on this episode. They were equally as excited to hang out with these characters.
Sitting in the tree stand. Hopefully, their bones don't rattle and scare away the deer.
A little target practice.
EPISODE 4: Making their way back home
After their hunting excursion, they return home but not without incident.
Looks like they had a wild time!
EPISODE 5: Hittin' the Road
After a bumpy ride, the crew has decided to take the drive to the neighbors and take their motorcycle out for some wind therapy!
EPISODE 6: Bone Chillin' Porch Sittin'
After an exciting weekend of travels, they are chilling out on the porch!
EPISODE 7: Grillin' & Chillin'
Grillin and Chillin, enjoying a little family time before the weather turns too cold.
The little one decided to go for a dip in the pool.
EPISODE 8: Skeletons of the Corn
No explanation is needed!
EPISODE 9: Just hanging around.
EPISODE 10: Car Trouble
Do you hear that rattle? It's no me!
Let me look under the hood!
Hey Dad, need a hand!?
Gettin' a look under the hood.
This adventure is enough to tickle anyone's funny bone. Huge thanks to the Sanders family for sharing the fun with us.
