Tumbleweed Closes Owensboro Location

Margarita Monday was no cause for celebration in Owensboro.  Workers and customers at our local Tumbleweed Restaurant were met with some very upsetting news.

In a restructuring move Monday, Tumbleweed Restaurants closed the doors on six locations and the Owensboro store was among them.  I actually went to eat there late Monday afternoon and was greeted at the door by a gentleman who simply said, "We have closed."  After doing a bit of research, I realized that the close was not due to our extremely bitter temperatures and recent bout of winter weather.  No, the close is, unfortunately, permanent.
