Two Owensboro Men Taking On The Appalachian Trail For Substance Abuse Awareness (VIDEO)
Brett & Adrian from Owensboro Regional Recovery; have decided to join together and hike the Appalachian Trail to raise awareness for Substance Abuse and Recovery.Both men met at Owensboro Regional Recovery during their recovery process. Brett had dreamed of hiking the Appalachian Trail and when he met Adrian it just made sense that he take the challenge along with him. Here's their story...
Owensboro Regional Recovery and Audubon Area Community Services are accepting financial contributions for Brett and Adrian's journey. Their journey will take them approximately 5 to 6 months, meaning no opportunity to work! ORR would like to help alleviate this burden. Individuals can support Brett and Adrian by taking the Penny-A-Mile Challenge by donating $22 to their journey. Other amounts are welcome!
