URGENT: These 8 Kentucky Shelter Dogs Need Forever Homes NOW!
Daviess County Animal Care and Control volunteer and friend Kristi Palazzi just made an urgent post on social media. She shared photos of eight different dogs who are at risk of euthanasia. She wrote, "It breaks our hearts to make these posts. The staff and volunteers love these dogs so much and this is our plea to the community."
That plea is simple, but challenging. At this point in time, there isn't anymore space at the shelter and the eight dogs featured in this story have been housed there for months. In Kristi's words, "These dogs have so much love to give, but they've been overlooked time and time again."
So, we are rallying the troops to find these dogs the forever homes they need and deserve! But, we have to hurry!

As Kristi explains, "Their time is running out! They deserve a chance to live happy lives with a loving family." If you are interested in adopting one of these lovable animals, the Daviess County Animal Shelter is waiving the adoption fee.
If you are interested in adopting, you can fill out the application online. Again, because of the critical urgency for the pets above, there is NO adoption fee for the eight animals featured in this story.
If you'd like more information, you are encouraged to call Daviess County Animal Care & Control at 270-685-8275. The office and shelter are located at 2620 Highway 81 in Owensboro.
