Veterans Resources in Owensboro, Kentucky

This is an early save-the-date notice, but it's worth it. In fact, this event was so incredibly popular and well-attended in March, organizers have been hard at work planning another for October. Audubon Area Community Services and AmeriCorps Seniors are once again joining forces for a Veterans Resource Fair Stand Down, which is less than two months away.

Here's a look at the attendance at the fair in March!

The upcoming event is set for Thursday, October 3rd from 1pm to 4pm at the National Guard Armory here in Owensboro. The armory is located at 3300 Tamarack Road. The event, like the previous one, is open to all veterans, active duty, retired military, National Guard, reservists and military families. No reservations are required,

The focal point of the event will be a variety of vendors and resources on hand. Those vendors represent "educational, employment, financial, health, and service-related resources."

There will also be free haircuts, door prizes and, of course, food.
