We all have our favorite Christmas songs, specials, and movies, but here's one you may have never seen.

The first time I saw this film of Truman Capote's short story "A Christmas Memory", I was a sophomore in high school. I know we studied To Kill a Mockingbird which was written by the author's childhood friend Harper Lee, but I can't remember what we read by Capote.

It originally aired in 1967. Truman himself is the narrator which makes it even more personal since it's a loosely autobiographical story.

I wanted to share this film with you not only because of its rarity, but because it captures the holiday spirit unlike any other story you'll hear or see. I love it. Merry Christmas!
