Weekend Family Roadtrip Idea: cMoe The Children’s Museum of Evansville
In Evansville, our studios rest in the downtown district just caddy-corner to The Children's Museum of Evansville (cMoe). My daughter always spies the t-rex when she visits me at the office and begs to go play "at the place with the big windows."
This past weekend, my husband took the boys to Indianapolis for a Pacers game and I wanted to do something special with her so I hopped on Seize the Deal and purchased a couple of discount tickets to cMoe for my daughter and her friend. When I posted pics to Facebook, some of my Owensboro friends had no idea cMoe existed so I wanted to give all our Kentucky peeps the heads up that this gem lies right across the river!
With two stories of theme rooms filled with educational and fun exhibits, kids of all ages can spend hours exploring and playing. There's a mock bank, building blocks, customizable race car, a digging area, giant things to climb, a fruit and vegetable stand, make-believe hospital, play kitchen and cafe, face paint studio, music room, mini theater, and everyone's favorite - water world. May I suggest taking an extra set of clothes! Tickets are only $8 per person if you pay at the museum.
Here are some of the photos from our latest day of play!
