Wendell Foster Center 2021 Half Marathon Registration Underway

Exciting news from the Wendell Foster Center in Owensboro! The plans are set for the 2021 Wendell Foster Half Marathon, which will be held Saturday, November 13th and registration is officially underway as of March 1st. In fact, if you register in the month of March, you can take advantage of an Early Bird rate.

Here's the full list of registration dates and the cost associated with each:

Before April 1, 2021: $60
April 1 to May 31, 2021: $70
June 1 to August 31, 2021: $75
September 1 to November 8, 2021: $80
Expo Registration (November 12, 2020): $90
No Race Day Registration
Registrations are final and no refunds will be issued

The race will begin at 7:30am, Saturday, November 13th at Smothers Park in downtown Owensboro. The event will also end at Smothers Park. The official course map will be released soon.

Pre-race day packet pickup registration will be 11am to 7pm on Friday, November 12th at the Owensboro Convention Center. The day of- packet pickup will be from 5:45am to 6:45am.

The Wendell Foster Half Marathon is, of course, an officially timed 13.1 mile course, with water stations positioned along the race route. There is also a "Running Stoller Division" that's designated for participants with disabilities.

This is the 3rd Annual Half Marathon and will again include cash prizes for the top finishers. Plus, there will be awards given for the top three finishers if each of these divisions: 13-15 • 16-19 • 20-24 • 25-29 • 30-34 • 35-39 • 40-44 • 45-49 • 50-54 • 55-59 • 60-64 • 65-69 • 70-74 • 75+
