Today for What's Cookin'?, I am sharing a recipe I stumbled across recently.  Full confession.  I love pizza and I love monkey bread.  So, imagine how excited I was to find a recipe that combined both.  Yes!  This is Monkey Bread Pizza.  It's easy to make and absolutely delicious.  I mean, how can you go wrong with a dish that you literally pull apart as you eat it.  You're gonna love it and the kids will too.  Here's how to make it!

And, by the way, WBKR's monkey bread expert, Dorothy Simpson from Tell City, made this for her family and it was a huge hit.

MONKEY BREAD PIZZA

    1/3 cup olive oil

    1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

    1 garlic clove, minced

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

2 cans (16.3 ounces each) large refrigerated flaky biscuits (8 count)

2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

    1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    20 slices pepperoni, halved

    1/2 cup marinara sauce

    Additional marinara sauce, warmed

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, combine first four ingredients.  Microwave, covered, on high for 30 seconds. Allow to cool slightly.

Cut each biscuit into four pieces.  Then add to oil mixture and toss to coat. Add cheeses and pepperoni and toss to combine.

Coat a Bundt pan with cooking spray and layer in half of the biscuit mixture.  Drizzle with 1/4 cup marinara sauce. Then, repeat layers.

Bake about 40 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pan 10 minutes.

Run a knife around sides and center tube of the Bundt pan. Invert onto a serving plate.

Serve with additional sauce. (As you can see from my photo, I put the dipping sauce container right smack dab in the middle of the monkey bread.
