The University of Kentucky is one of 30 schools across the nation to use GradSense, a new service online that helps college students ascertain whether or not their future occupations will be enough to pay off the huge debt incurred over the course of their educations. While all of this data can be found searching the internet, this online tool streamlines the process. This program tells you the average cost of the student's degree, the median salary of the chosen occupation, and offers financial planning advice on topics ranging from paying back student loans to career planning tips.

The debt-to-salary calculator was developed by the Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association – College Retirement Equities Fund (TIAA-CREF) and the Council of Graduate Schools.
