When I saw the news yesterday, I thought it was a joke. The only two holidays I really decorate for are Halloween and Christmas. I love October and have a collection of vintage-inspired paper mache cats, pumpkins, and skeletons, but my favorite season to decorate for is Christmas.

For those of you who prefer ghosts and goblins, luckily you have Spirit Halloween to shop for all kinds of goodies. Everything from costumes to scary movie-themed clothes and purses to animatronics and home decor. The stores just pop up in random abandoned retail spaces and are set up temporarily for shoppers each year.

But what about those who are all about the spirit of Christmas instead? Until now, there hasn't really been a similar store. Luckily the brains behind Spirit Halloween, Spencer Spirit Holdings, are about to change that with their new Spirit Christmas stores. The website reads.

"Visit us this fall for a unique holiday shopping experience. Get your family photos with Santa while exploring aisles full of Christmas magic. Discover thousands of stocking stuffers, holiday apparel, fun gifts, unique décor, plus all the special trimmings for creating an unforgettable Christmas."

Unfortunately, Kentucky does NOT make the list of initial stores launched in the United States. The lucky guinea pigs are all in the Northeast.
