Wind Advisory in Effect Thursday for WBKR Listening Area [Forecast]

Thursday is shaping up to be a VERY windy day.  The National Weather Service has placed the entire WBKR listening area under a Wind Advisory.  We could see wind gusts over 40 mph.

Here's the area affected by tomorrow's Wind Advisory:

According to the National Weather Service, the Wind Advisory will be in place from 3am, Thursday, December 27th through 3am, Friday, December 28th.  We are expecting sustained winds from 20 to 25 mph with occasional gusts over 40 mph.

Of course, gusty winds can cause tree and branch damage.  Plus, loose outdoor objects can be blown around.  And certain "high profile" vehicles may experience travel difficulties.
