First of all, I'm not one of those who beats a bad call to death. I watch a ton of college basketball and they happen. And they rarely determine the outcome of a game. But this is different.

And it's different because the outcome of the game, according to the play clock, had already been determined.

At the end of the first overtime in that riveting Kentucky/Florida football game Saturday night, the 'Cats led 27-20. Florida quarterback Jeff Driskel got the ball and connected with Demarcus Robinson for the Gator touchdown.

Florida eventually prevailed, 36-30, after a third overtime.

The problem is--and we're all well aware of this by now--the play clock at the end of that first overtime showed "00" by the time Driskel caught the ball.

The pass should have been waved off and Kentucky should have recorded its first victory over the Gators since the Revolutionary War.

But that will have to remain alternate-universe stuff. What's done is done. Florida is officially the winner of that game.

But one Twitter personality, Not Jerry Tipton--who takes his profile name from Lexington Herald-Leader sports writer Jerry Tipton--is not satisfied. In fact, he's in full-on denial. And it's funny.

Here are some of his tweets following the game:
