Erin Grant

I am originally from Ohio County, specifically Hartford. I spent a lot of my early years tagging along with my Dad to various sporting events, so needless to say, I love sports! My favorite sports are basketball, baseball, football, tennis. My favorite team bar none is the St. Louis Cardinals. I love TV way too much! A partial list of my favorite shows would include The Walking Dead, Orange is the New Black, American Horror Story, Glee, Pretty Little Liars, GIRLS, Sons of Anarchy, Face Off, Survivor, The Big Bang Theory, you get the idea. My hobbies include reading, writing, blogging and spending time with my niece Zoey. I started my broadcasting career in 1998 at Western Kentucky University and I have been involved in radio ever since. TUNE INTO THE THIRD SHIFT WITH ME MON-FRI, 12A-5A!

Throwback Thursday: Learn About Erin’s Former On-Air Names [PHOTOS & VIDEO]

I've been working in radio for roughly 16 years. When I took my first Radio Broadcasting (DJ) class at WKU, I learned I needed to pick out an on-air alias. Some of the upperclassmen had great on-air names like Lovely Rita, Filer, and Isis. Yes, Isis, but as in the Greek Isis. I'm going to share with you now my only other on-air names I've used throughout the years. Oh boy.

The Odd Super Bowl Commercial You May Have Missed [VIDEO]

Oh, man, what a Super Bowl. Yeah, yeah, why throw when you have "Beast Mode" all geared up to plow it into the end zone for the win? Was the lion or tiger or liger real that Katy Perry was riding on into The University of Phoenix Stadium? When can we make a life-size Pac Man game happen? Oh I have many more, but here's an odd commercial you may have missed.

Erin’s Niece Zoey Helps Pick A Super Bowl Winner [VIDEO]

I decided to make a quick trip home and I had an idea. I'll make copies of each team's logo and show them to my niece Zoey and see which one she likes better. Okay, short story, this is actually take 2. I used my sister's iPad for the first take and there was less than 20 percent on the battery, therefore, I couldn't get it to upload. No worries, we used my phone and here's what happened. Enjoy!

Lynn’s Paradise Cafe Owner Offers Up Popular Recipes In Restaurant’s Abscence

It's hard to believe but it's been two years since Lynn Winter closed her popular and very unusual restaurant in Louisville. Since then, businesses in the area (Barrett Ave) have seen reduced foot traffic and last week, vandals made their mark on one of the statues. Despite all the drama surrounding whether or not Winter will sell, she's offering up a couple of her most popular recipes, including her Bourbon Ball French Toast.

The “Wishin’ Boot” Highlights Blake Shelton’s SNL Gig [VIDEO]

So, did you watch Blake Shelton's hosting and playing gig on 'Saturday Night Live' this weekend? It's pretty much what I expected; the writers held back a little bit on letting Shelton do many sketches where his musical talent wasn't included. I just think when you get a host who is only know for music, politics, sports, etc. you would want to stretch a little further. Overall, the episode wasn't bad. Here's my favorite sketch.
