Blackford Creek Performs ‘Say Something’ Live at WBKR [VIDEO]

The champs of the 2013 Battle for the Big O returned to WBKR recently and, this time, brought along ace fiddler, Jake Holder. And they kind of surprised me.

“Say Something” is a song originally recorded by the pop duo A Great Big World then re-recorded with Christina Aguilera joining in.

But you guys probably already knew that. I did not. I had never heard the song before, so when Dan Hall of Blackford Creek announced before performing the song that they were going to do something a little different, something not very country, and then they began singing a song that sounded very much to me like a country song, I was scratching my head.

Well, anyway, long story short, if “Say Something” isn’t a country song, it oughta be.
