This could be filed under it's about time, Blake Shelton is opening a bar in Nashville and his home town, Tishomingo, Oklahoma.

At a press conference, on Thursday, Ryman Hospitality Properties, the parent company of the Grand Ole Opry, announced the project. Both locations will be named, "Ol Red", paying homage to Blake's 2001 hit. The Nashville location will be 26,000 square feet, with three floors and a stage area.

Blake won't be slinging drinks or running the bar, but the country superstar will be the face of the franchise. Both the Nashville and Oklahoma locations will be owned by Ryman Hospitality. The Nashville project is expected to cost $20 million, with a target opening of 2018. No date has been set for the Oklahoma location.
