On Country Quickies this morning Chad and I talked about Carrie Underwood's appearance on the CMT Awards Show tonight. (TWC channel 28 in Owensboro) She will sing SEE YOU AGAIN, her new song tonight and dedicate it to the  memory of the deceased victims at the 2013 CMT Music Awards.

According to Taste of Country's Christina Vinson, two dozen members of Nashville's Christ Church choir will perform background vocals.  “The choir, I’ve never done that before and they just kind of take it to a whole ethereal place," she says, according to the Washington Post.

“The people in Oklahoma are really great. Tornado season is something that we’re all used to but you can never fully prepare for it," Underwood says of her fellow Okies. "It takes what it wants and it knocks down what it wants and there’s nothing you can do about it except just try to be prepared. They’re just wonderful people and they’re going to rebuild and they’re going to bounce back stronger than ever.”

Carrie already gave $1,000,000 to the Red Cross to help the victims last month. If you watch tonight, you will be directed on how to donate to the Red Cross during the performance airing at 7 o'clock on ABC, TWC channel 11 in Owensboro.
