It's that wonderful time of the year: the 26th Annual Reid's Orchard Apple Festival this weekend on Highway 144 in Owensboro. Temperatures are expected to be in the 60's Saturday & 70's Sunday! Our good friend and work colleague Joe Lowe was recently diagnosed with stage-4 cancer and has undergone chemotherapy and other treatments. The bills are piling up and we want to do our part to help out our friend as he has helped us and many others throughout his broadcast career. The "Show Jolo" event is Saturday, October 20th at the American Legion 118 West Veterans Blvd. - across from the new beautiful Smothers Park. Last night was our 'Season Finale' of RACETALK for the 2012 season, at least 100 people came by Show-Me's last night and be a part of it!
