Well we are about 6 weeks out from the 2013 NASCAR season and news is starting to come in about who is going to be driving where. The latest news comes to us from our ace reporter Blake Smith about Danica Patrick:

Announcements concerning NASCAR’s Most Popular Female Driver, Danica Patrick flooded NASCAR Media today. It was announced that Danica Patrick will be vacating the seat of her #7 Chevrolet in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Patrick will be replaced by full-time JR Motorsports NASCAR Nationwide Series driver, Regan Smith.

Danica Patrick will move her 10-race Nationwide commitment from JR Motorsports to Turner Motorsports. She will be replacing the seat vacated by Great Clips’ driver duo Kasey Kahne and Brad Sweet. Kahne and Sweet will be moving to JR Motorsports’ #5 team and sharing the ride for a 27 race schedule in the Nationwide Series. Great Clips will also be the primary sponsor for the duo during the schedule. GoDaddy is expected to follow Patrick to Turner Motorsports.
