Extraordinary Lightning Strike Caught on Video [VIDEO]

I'm no expert, so this is just a guess. But I bet the reason the lightning displays with our storms this summer have been so impressive is because of how dry it's been otherwise.

And I've been trying desperately to record some of it, but to no avail. Well, apparently, I need to be in Russia. That's where this lightning strike was recorded, and it is unbelievable. Check it out:
