We are so excited to announce that the last Yard Party of the season will benefit Christmas Wish. Join us for lunch, or take your meal to go on Friday! Free deliveries will be offered. Here's what's on the menu.

We're getting ready to celebrate the 47th season of Christmas Wish. We're excited to make it the biggest and best season ever! To make that happen, we need your help. If last year was another record-breaking year, I can only imagine what this season will bring. Based on the phone calls and messages asking when families can start filling out wish letters, I think we have a pretty good indication. So, let the fundraising begin!

CHRISTMAS WISH MISSION

Since 1976 Christmas Wish has been “MAKING SURE EVERY CHILD IN THE TRI-STATE GETS A VISIT FROM SANTA”. You can make a huge difference in the lives of others and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas by giving back to those in need this holiday season.

Because of efforts and generosity like this fundraiser,1,940 needy families received Christmas last year. Over 8,000 children had presents under the tree. Over 50,000 gifts were handed out during the holiday season. If you're in need this holiday season or know someone who is, letter submissions will be open on Monday, November 6th, 2023.

2023 CHRISTMAS WISH YARD PARTY

Be sure to join us on the front lawn at WBKR on Friday, October 27th, 2023. We'll be serving lunch from 11 AM until 1:30 PM, and we hope you can stop by. You can get an ANGUS burger grilled by the Daviess County Pork Producers or 2 Nathan's famous beef hotdogs, chips, a drink, and a snack for just $5 at 3301 Frederica Street, Owensboro. Because of some amazing sponsors, 100% of the proceeds will go to families in need this holiday season.

PRE-ORDER LUNCH, AND HAVE IT DELIVERED

We're offering FREE deliveries in the Owensboro area on all lunches of 5 or more. Why leave the office when we can bring lunch to you? If you want to pre-order, it would help us a lot. We have enough food for 300 meals, so we need you.

A special thanks to Jeanie Beall at Kroger, the team with Firehouse Subs (John Allen), Pepsi, Little Debbie (Bob Survant), and the volunteers with the Daviess County Pork Producers, Owensboro Family Eye Care, Anna Way, and DMC Graphics. They helped provide everything needed for the lunches. This is why 100% of all lunches sold will benefit Christmas Wish. We can't thank them enough for their generosity!

Last season revealed how many families were suffering and how committed our community was to help ease their pain. It was a season of giving, so let's look at everything that took place at Christmas Wish last year. You helped 1,940 less fortunate families celebrate the magic of the holiday season.
