Hank Williams Sr. Lost Notebooks Inspire New Album

Hank Williams Sr.

Hank Williams Jr. may be making waves politically but no matter how anyone feels about Jr., Hank Sr. will always be the greatest. I just happened upon an article on CMT about a new album derived from lost notebooks with lyrics and compositions never completed by the Country music great. The album was released Tuesday Oct. 4th and features talent from many musical genres.

Bob Dylan, Merle Haggard, Sheryl Crow, Jack White, and Alan Jackson are just a few contributing musicians. The excerpts I have heard thus far are excellent and I highly recommend it for any Williams fan young or old. Williams’ own flesh and blood, granddaughter Holly Williams, also adds her voice and musical talents to the album. It is good times….so go get it!
