Holiday Leftover Breakfast Recipe: Dinner Roll French Toast
Do you have leftover holiday dinner rolls? Turn them into a delicious breakfast!
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- dash cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves
- 2 dinner yeast
- syrup, cream cheese optional
Heat butter in pan over medium heat. Mix egg, milk, spices and vanilla in a small bowl. Cut rolls in half. Dip rolls in egg mixture soaking it all up. Place rolls, cut side down over butter. Cook 3-5 minutes until done. Flip. Serve with syrup, cream cheese, nuts.
